ITINERARY

Day 1 August 26

Arrival in Portland, Oregon

This morning we arrive at Portland International Airport. Explore Portland’s highlights, such as the International Rose Test Garden and Washington Park.

Welcome dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: August 27

Portland to Astoria and Cannon Beach

Drive to Astoria, visit the Astoria Column for panoramic views and explore the Columbia River Maritime Museum. Continue south to Cannon Beach (about 1 hour). Stroll along the beach, visit Haystack Rock, and explore the local shops and galleries.

Day 3: August 28

Cannon Beach to Tillamook and Cape Meares

Drive to Tillamook (about 1 hour). Visit the Tillamook Creamery for a tour and cheese tasting. Head to Cape Meares State Scenic Viewpoint . Explore the lighthouse and enjoy the views of the rugged coastline.

Day 4: August 29

Cannon Beach to Newport (via Oregon Coast Scenic Byway)

Drive south along the Oregon Coast Scenic Byway to Newport (about 2 hours). Enjoy the stunning coastal views along the way. Visit the Oregon Coast Aquarium and Yaquina Head Lighthouse. Explore the historic Newport Bayfront.

Day 5: August 30

Newport to Bend, Oregon (via Crater Lake)

Drive to Crater Lake National Park (about 2.5 hours). Explore the stunning caldera lake and take a scenic drive around the rim.

Continue your drive to Bend . Enjoy the scenic landscapes of central Oregon.

Day 6: August 31

Bend to Boise, Idaho

Drive from Bend to Boise. Explore Boise’s outdoor attractions, such as the Boise River Greenbelt or the foothills for a hike with city views.

Day 7: September 1

Boise to Sun Valley

Morning: Drive to Craters of the moon state park . Enjoy the scenic drive through the Idaho wilderness. Explore the Sun Valley area, including a visit to Ketchum and the Sun Valley Resort. Take a scenic lift ride or hike in the surrounding mountains. Evening: Dinner in Ketchum. Overnight in Sun Valley.

Day 8: September 2

Sun Valley to Boise and Departure
